Floral rain clouds illustration inspired by gloomy rainy weather in spring. I like days when it’s raining. Bad weather can be very inspirational, if you have the time to create, of course. This artwork is a simple vector illustration with added textures. Created this fun abstract botanical design in Affinity Designer while testing some of the raster brushes. Used them to recreate the rain drops, as well as the details on the flowers and the texture on the whole image. Used a color scheme in pink, white and gloomy light blue. Added art prints and products to my Redbubble and Society6 online stores:
Two cute ferret kids hoodies with my designs. Bought them for my big girls – each one of them chose one of these animal drawings. Ordered them from Zazzle and I’m quite happy with them. The quality of the sweatshirts and the prints is good. Zazzle uses direct-to-garment printing for them so the images, though perfectly clear and crisp, are a bit grainy, but they feel like a natural part of the fabric, not like a layer on top of it. Imaginary friends – some children have them, some children don’t. In this case, the roles are unclear. Who is imagining whom? Drew the image for this week’s topic of Illustration Friday.
Lying eye vector illustration of this organ of vision and tears which comes down out of it. The word “LIE” is shaped in the bigger tear. So, a bit of weird hand lettering design this time. This drawing was inspired by a particular person – she cried and I already knew she was lying. Vectorized the sketch and created art prints at my Redbubble and Society6 stores.

Weird floral mandala with teeth which I drew some time ago in ink. Recently I vectorized it and prepared it for this week’s topic of Illustration Friday which is “black and white”. It is a drawing of a strange flower with teeth in a style which resembles tattoo art.

Electronic flowers are not something I see everyday. I have not seen one, actually. This week’s topic of Illustration Friday is “electronic” so this is what I came up with. Drew some mechanical plants like lotuses. Their petals are made of electronic circuit boards. Because why not? Imagined them as some kind of robotic flowers. Now I added art prints to my Redbubble and Society6 shops.
