I made this copper cuff bracelet with peridot gemstones recently. Crafted it using the wire wrapping technique by braiding wires to shape waves. I used recycled copper 1.3 mm for the main structure and new copper wire 0.6 mm for threading the 5 mm green stones.

handmade copper cuff bracelet - wire woven with 5 mm peridot gemstones, shot on soft white fabric

Peridot is a wonderful translucent green stone and birthstone of people born in August. I love how light shines through it. I love its warm shade of green, its inclusions and non-uniformity. Here are some details of the bracelet and how it looks on the hand:

Copper naturally darkens. It is a part of its “living metal” vibe and one of the qualities which I love about it. To slow this process, though, I’ve protected this gemstone cuff with Renaissance wax.

I send it in a lovely jewelry box ready for gifting – it is available for sale at my Etsy shop. You can see more details and a video there.

Thanks for looking!
