This artwork was inspired by thoughts about animal welfare and the fragile lives of stray and shelter animals. I find too many cats and dogs abandoned by their owners. It is hard to imagine the care you need to put in when looking after pets if you’ve never had one. There should be some public education about this.

About the art

Anyway, about is the illustration – sad white kitty, a new character from my series with Weird Cat. This time drawn in Procreate, in a bit different style, in warm beige and brown colors. Added a tiny text in italic “Keep me forever” because that is what they would tell us if they could speak. Some kind of a cozy aesthetic.
