I made these lightweight copper earrings in boho style for myself and added tiny and lovely mother of pearl beads. 🙂

I made the structures first and I wore them for quite some time. They became my favorite earrings because they’re very lightweight and comfortable to wear. They looked like this:

Recently I got a hold on some fantastic mother of pearl tiny beads and thought “They will be in rhythm with the silver hooks! Up to down: Whitish silver – copper – whitish mother of pearl – copper.” And I did it. Wire wrapped the 3 mm beads and here is the result:



I love them. I’m wearing them constantly now.

Edit: I made copper ear hooks, oxidized them with liver of sulfur and protected them with Protectaclear varnish. I love them this way, too! Here’s one of the earrings, shot on a lovely linen napkin which my grandmother’s gave me:
