I had so much fun creating this illustration! It features four black cats mid-leap, arranged in an ellipse, decorated with delicate ornamental swirls and surrounded by little hearts. I wanted to capture a sense of movement, mystery, and playfulness while using a dreamy color palette of pinks, purples, and deep black. It’s a little bit magical, a little bit cute, and definitely made with love for fellow cat lovers.

The cats are a bit weird, with puzzled look in their glowing eyes and swirls on their cute little bodies – just the way I like them.

Drew the artwork in Procreate. I totally adore this app’s symmetry feature. It’s always such an immense fun playing with it. This time I started only with the idea for the loosely drawn jumping feline creature. The idea for the rest appeared while drawing it.
If you like this design, you can find it on Redbubble, TeePublic, and Threadless as prints, stickers, apparel, and more! Whether you want a cozy hoodie, a cute tote bag, or some fun home decor, there’s something for everyone. Your support means the world to me, and I hope this design brings a little joy to your day!
There’s something special about wearing a piece of jewelry that feels like it tells a story. These Bohemian Copper Butterfly Earrings with Amethyst are more than just accessories—they are little works of art, made with care and intention. Whether you’re drawn to the symbolism of butterflies, the deep purple beauty of amethyst, or the warm glow of copper, these earrings are designed to bring a touch of nature-inspired elegance to your everyday style. Actually, I wanted to try if I could make lovely tiny butterflies and the process turned out to be a great fun!
The Process: Handmade with Heart
Every pair of these earrings starts as raw copper wire, carefully shaped and hammered to create delicate butterfly charms. At first, I made a lot of mistakes while trying to make charms. They’re simple but the wire has to be bent carefully so that the right ended overlap the right elements.
The 4mm amethyst gemstones are then chosen for their rich purple color, adding a subtle yet striking contrast against the copper. Amethyst is known as the birthstone of February, often associated with clarity, protection, and calm energy. And it’s extremely beautiful!
Once assembled, the earrings go through an oxidation process that enhances the natural depth of the copper, giving them an earthy, rustic patina. Instead of using harsh chemical patinas, I expose them to ammonia vapors for a short time. Finally, they are polished just enough to highlight the details while keeping that raw, handmade charm intact. I love this part of the process—watching each piece come to life, knowing that no two pairs will ever be exactly the same.
Lastly, I protect them with Renaissance wax which protects them from easy further oxidation. Patina will continue to develop – that’s one of the natural qualities of copper – but much more slowly.

How to Care for Your Copper Earrings
Copper is a beautiful, living metal that changes over time, developing a natural patina. If you love the aged, antique look, you can let the earrings darken naturally. However, if you prefer the bright, polished look, a quick clean with a lemon juice and salt mixture or a jewelry polishing cloth will bring back the shine. Just be sure to store them in a dry place when not in use to prevent excessive oxidation.
Since these earrings feature natural amethyst gemstones, it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or harsh chemicals, as that could dull the stone’s vibrant color.
A Gift with Meaning
These earrings would make a thoughtful birthday gift for a friend or sister, especially if they were born in February or simply love butterflies and nature-inspired jewelry. Handmade jewelry carries a special kind of energy—knowing that each piece was crafted with patience and love makes it even more meaningful to wear or give as a gift.
If you’d like to see more handmade jewelry like this, feel free to check out my Etsy shop, where I create pieces with the same care and attention to detail. Thank you for supporting handmade!
I’ll be including photos and videos of the process so you can see how these earrings come to life, from raw materials to the final polished piece. I hope you love them as much as I love making them!
Sometimes, the simplest things hold the most meaning. This handmade pure copper chain necklace is one of those pieces—crafted quietly, with steady hands and a lot of heart. I made it for myself, loved its simplicity and comfort and decided to sell pieces like this, too.
Arranged like this the necklace looks like a snakeThis is how it stands on the neck
Made entirely from 0.8 mm pure copper wire, it’s a straightforward design, with large hammered circle-shaped elements that give it a unique character. It’s not flashy or overly intricate, but that’s part of its charm. At 47 cm long, it’s just the right length to sit comfortably around the neck, whether you’re dressing up for a special occasion or just going about your day.

The Beauty of Handmade
There’s something deeply satisfying about creating something with your own hands. This necklace didn’t come from a factory; it came from a small space where time and care were poured into every detail. Each bend in the wire, each loop in the design, is a reminder of the joy that comes from making something by hand.
It’s not perfect in a machine-made way, and that’s intentional. The imperfections make it human, and maybe that’s why it feels so special to wear.
Why Copper?
Copper has a natural warmth to it, both in color and in feel. It’s simple and unpretentious, yet it has a way of standing out. Over time, it might develop a patina—a natural aging process that tells a story of where it’s been and who it’s been with.
You can let it age, or you can polish it to bring back its shine. Either way, it becomes something personal and uniquely yours.
For You, or Someone You Love
This necklace isn’t meant to be a grand gesture. It’s something small and meaningful, a quiet gift for someone you care about—a friend, a mother, a daughter, or maybe just yourself.
It’s a reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be extravagant. Sometimes, the simplest things are the ones we treasure the most.
If you love small, handmade creations, this necklace might find a special place in your life. It’s made to be worn, appreciated, and passed along with care.
If you love simple, handmade jewelry with a touch of rustic charm, these copper earrings might be just your style. They’re made from slightly oxidized copper with three hammered teardrop-shaped pieces that add a bit of texture and character. The design is simple but has a warmth that works with just about anything you wear.
Crafting
Each pair is crafted by hand with care. The copper is cut, shaped, and gently hammered to give it that unique, organic texture. The light oxidation adds a vintage feel, and over time, the copper will naturally develop a patina, making the earrings even more special.

About copper
One of the wonderful things about copper is how it changes over time. As it reacts to the air and moisture, it forms a natural patina that give it a lived-in, antique look. This aging process makes copper jewelry feel organic and personal, as no two pieces will ever age in exactly the same way.
These are the kind of earrings you can wear every day—whether you’re dressing up a little or just keeping it casual. If you appreciate small, handmade touches and natural materials, these earrings are a lovely option.
When it comes to jewelry, there’s something truly special about handmade pieces. They carry a story, a touch of individuality, and the care of the person who made them. Today, I want to share the story of one of my most beloved creations: the Handmade Amethyst Bracelet.
The Meaning Behind Amethyst
Amethyst is not just a beautiful gemstone with a rich purple hue; it’s also a stone with deep meaning. Known as the February birthstone, amethyst has been cherished for centuries for its calming and balancing properties. It’s said to promote clarity, reduce stress, and provide a sense of inner peace.
Wearing an amethyst bracelet is not just a fashion statement—it’s a way to carry a piece of nature’s energy with you every day. Whether you believe in the metaphysical properties of gemstones or simply admire their beauty, amethyst is a timeless choice.
Crafting of the bracelet
This bracelet is entirely handmade using 6 mm natural amethyst gemstones and 304 stainless steel wire. Why stainless steel? It’s a durable, hypoallergenic (for most people) material that resists tarnish, making it perfect for jewelry that’s meant to last.
But let me tell you, working with stainless steel is no easy task. The wire is strong, and shaping it into a beautiful, delicate design takes time and patience. Every bracelet is a labor of love, and yes— every time that I work with steel there are a few scratches on my hands because this metal fights back! 🙃
The challenge, though, is part of what makes handmade jewelry so rewarding. Knowing that every twist and turn of the wire is done by hand makes each piece truly one of a kind.
A Thoughtful Gift
This amethyst bracelet isn’t just a piece of jewelry—it’s a thoughtful gift for someone special. Whether it’s for a friend’s birthday, an anniversary, or just a way to say, “I’m thinking of you,” this bracelet carries meaning and love. Also, this beautiful gemstone is a birthstone for people who have their birthdays in February so this makes the bracelet even a more special gift.
It comes beautifully packaged in a jewelry box ready for gifting, making it easy to surprise someone you care about.
More photos and a short video:
The bracelet can also be made with smaller 4 mm stones which gives it a more minimalistic look as in the photo below (that is actually the bracelet which I made for my daughter).
Why Choose Handmade?
In a world of mass production, choosing handmade jewelry is a way to celebrate individuality and support small businesses. When you purchase this bracelet, you’re not just buying a product—you’re supporting a craftsperson who pours their heart into every creation.

Ever wondered what kind of plants grow out there in the farthest corners of the universe? Meet Flora-Eye – a quirky, one-of-a-kind alien plant that’s been drifting through the cosmos, collecting stories and worlds along the way. This little traveler is ready to add a splash of intergalactic charm to your life!
The finished artwork
Flora-Eye isn’t your average houseplant. Its head is shaped like a giant eye, complete with a glowing yellow iris that seems to follow everything around it. (Don’t worry – it’s friendly… probably.) Hidden beneath its eyelids are tiny teeth, giving it just the right amount of weirdness. Its green body is full of life, and from the top of its eye-head bloom soft purple petals – because even alien plants like to accessorize!
The coolest part? Right on Flora-Eye’s chest is a tiny planet, like a badge of honor. Maybe it’s a reminder of home, or maybe it’s just one of many places it’s visited on its cosmic adventures. Either way, Flora-Eye is always ready for its next journey – and that could be with you!
Check out some sketches and a tiny progress video:
Short in-progress video of the pencil drawing and inking process
Inspiration for the artwork
It might sound a little odd, but the inspiration for this character came from my recent tough bout with bronchitis. There were moments when the coughing got so intense that, lying in a dark room, with every coughing fit I saw glowing shapes at the upper and lower rim of my visual field – kind of like the teeth on the alien’s eye. I thought this was a very interesting experience, so I grabbed my electronic pencil and started sketching what I saw. And, as with most of my art, this quirky and cosmic creature just naturally came to life. It’s funny how even the roughest moments can spark a little creativity!
You can bring this little cosmic oddball into your world 🙂
Flora-Eye is available on t-shirts, stickers, prints, and more across Redbubble, Threadless, TeePublic, and Zazzle. Whether you’re decorating your space or looking for a fun gift, Flora-Eye’s ready to add some stellar vibes to your collection.
There’s something special about handmade jewelry. It’s not just a pretty accessory – it carries a story, crafted with care and intention. That’s exactly what you get with this handmade copper bracelet with green jadeite stones: a beautiful, thoughtful piece that’s easy to wear and full of character.
Why Copper and Jadeite?
Copper is one of those materials that just gets better with time. As it ages, it develops a natural patina, giving the bracelet a unique, vintage vibe. If you love that rustic, earthy look, this bracelet is for you.
Then, there’s the jadeite. Those little green jadeite beads (4 mm) add a pop of color and some good vibes, too. Jadeite is often associated with peace and balance, so it’s not just pretty – it’s meaningful. The combination of copper and jadeite makes this bracelet feel both simple and special, perfect for wearing every day or dressing up for an occasion.
A Bracelet That’s Just Right
One of the best things about this bracelet? You can tell me the exact length you want it to be, so you can get the perfect fit. No worries about whether it’ll be too tight or too loose. When measuring your wrist, add at least 1 cm for a comfortable fit. It’s best to measure the length of your most comfortable bracelet of a similar type. And if copper isn’t your thing, I can also make it with stainless steel 304. Like this one:
Oh, and the bracelet comes in a jewelry box, so it’s ready to be given as a thoughtful present. Whether it’s for someone special or a treat for yourself, it’s nice to have something ready to go right out of the box.
Here’s a short video of the copper bracelet, too:
Taking Care of Your Bracelet
Copper has that cool patina effect over time, but if you prefer to keep it shiny, it’s easy to clean. Just wipe it down with a soft cloth or use a bit of copper polish. Storing it in a dry place and keeping it away from water and chemicals will help it stay looking great, too.
Where to Find It
You can find this bracelet at my Etsy store. If you’re in Bulgaria, I also have it listed on Handmasters.bg. It’s always exciting to share my creations with people who appreciate unique, handmade pieces. Each bracelet is made with care, and I hope you love wearing it as much as I love making it.
