I made this chain bracelet from stainless steel and purple amethyst stones with irregular shapes. This jewelry piece would make a lovely gift for a person who has a birthday in the next month as February’s birthstone is exactly amethyst.

I used stainless steel 304 wire. 18 g (1 mm) for the double spirals and the heart clasp and 22 g (0.6 mm) for wrapping the amethyst stones. Hammered the spirals and the clasp very carefully to achieve this super flat look. And polished the bracelet quite a long time too. Until a mirror shine of the steel. I also made one extension link so that the bracelet is slightly adjustable. The stones are not flawless, they have minor scratches, but they’re intense violet, so very beautiful!

Amethyst is often linked to calmness, reflection, and emotional clarity, and people like it as much for its natural beauty as for its symbolism. I love the contrast of the gorgeous gemstones with the strong, durable steel.
