Tetrahedral molecule art – fun constellations in a starry sky which have the tetrahedral geometric shape of some molecules like methane (CH₄), MnO₄, XeO₄, etc. Whatever I do, there comes a moment when I find myself drawing these shapes again and again. My chemistry background frequently goes into my art. This week’s topic of Illustration Friday is “Galaxy” so this is what I came up with. Though, to be punctual, neither of these are galaxies, they’re just some weird constellations. Anyway, close enough to the topic. Drew this illustration in Procreate using the app’s light brush and I was impressed. Loved the effect. Added art prints to Redbubble and Society6 too.
