This evil flower character is the first illustration I drew in Affinity Designer, which is now my all-time favorite application for vector illustration. I looked at some of the images the app was presenting at its start. Liked the transparencies in one of them which gave it a glossy look. Then thought I hadn’t tried to make a vector with a bit of transparency. So I tried to do it in this funny flower. Later I created art prints and products with this dark violet illustration at my Redbubble and Society6 stores. Continue reading Evil flower character in violet

Most days when the evening comes I have the feeling I haven’t done anything in that day. I haven’t sat down all day, too. So I started to write the things. They include: making breakfast, cooking twice, going out twice with the kids, cleaning the floor, laundry and what not. Strangely, summing things up made me feel a little better. That’s why I decided to start this blog post series, more for myself maybe. Here I will write what I do every day for my art and design.
