This ferret music lover illustration was drawn after discussing a word in Bulgarian with my husband. In our language styrofoam is called “stiropor” and then many people don’t hear / read it right so they call it “stereopor” which is a combination between “stereo” as in sound and “por” which means ferret. So here is what we imagined when we hear the word spoken this way. I’m a pharmacist and we study chemistry intensively so I imagine it is easy for people to make the mistake. I have fun with it nonetheless. So this is vector illustration of a fluffy cute ferret which listens to its favorite music on its own phone, wearing big headphones. Check out art prints with this funny mustelid at my Redbubble and Society6 stores:
This evil flower character is the first illustration I drew in Affinity Designer, which is now my all-time favorite application for vector illustration. I looked at some of the images the app was presenting at its start. Liked the transparencies in one of them which gave it a glossy look. Then thought I hadn’t tried to make a vector with a bit of transparency. So I tried to do it in this funny flower. It is, of course, with very sharp teeth and a grin slapped on its face, if I can call it that way at all. Later I created art prints and products with this dark violet illustration at my Redbubble and Society6 stores.
Lastly, you can check out this women’s tee with the flower at my Design By Humans store. They are the only ones that offer a shirt with this fantastic violet color, just like the original background of my artwork.
My colorful psychedelic eye is featured at Redbubble’s Found page! Thanks Redbubble. I drew this vector illustration lead by my obsession with eyes – the weirder, the better. They just seem natural to draw for me. Whenever I start to just scribble, an eye or a leaf/flower appears. And I also love bright colors, trip art… you can tell.
