Created two new Behance projects for my portfolio. One is with my weird eyes illustrations from the whole 2016 year. I seem to enjoy drawing eyes a lot. Strange things are happening to them usually. That’s maybe because I have frequent problems with my own eyes. The other project features watercolor snowflake drawings from this winter. I seem to enjoy drawing these a lot, too. Nice simple shapes, lots of room for improvisation. Moreover, I thought I should put some of my watercolors in my portfolio. Not that I’m a pro or anything. It’s just a part of my skills, even if not refined. Take a look at the projects themselves:
Watercolor sketches and art which I recently uploaded to Instagram. I continue to explore watercolor art and I love it more and more. Up to now I’ve created mostly digital artworks. Now I’m thinking of making art prints out of my traditional drawings, too.
There’s a sale at Teepublic today and tomorrow. All tees are $14, all other stuff is discounted too. That is why I checked my store there and noticed I haven’t added my latest designs. So I did. Here are the t-shirts which I added:

This evil grin doesn’t need a face. It has sharp teeth and evil eyes. What more do you need to draw an expression…
I drew this illustration a long time ago. Wanted to sew a pouch for my phone and I sketched it. Did make the pouch, it did not turn out as well as I wanted. I’m not a master at sewing. Then I made a vector illustration after the sketch. Turned out much better than the pouch.

This Andean condor was drawn for a compilation of songs in the style Huayno. It is a collaborative name for the traditional songs of the countries in South America – Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, played especially by the Quechua people there. I designed a music cover for songs like these some time ago. I wanted to create a design which resembles the style of Andean textiles. They’re beautiful, geometric, bright. I wanted it to be modern yet to have the spirit of native South American art. Birds, especially condors, sun were motives which I saw in most of the textiles there. And I listened to this kind of music then to get in the mood. Loved it, actually. So I decided to draw a geometric condor with wide spread wings flying in from of a big yellow sun. Created three new art prints in the past weeks. Here they are:
Drew an image of a girl with strange haircut and swirly flowers for Illustration Friday’s topic “swirl”.
Drew this funny tomato a long time ago along with a broccoli and an eggplant with the same stressed look in their eyes. I love to draw odd creatures and these vegetables were a great fun to create. I changed it a bit later, added the pixelated background. Had made it with lighter green background, intensified the color. Because, as a regular a crazy person, I like bright colors the most. Made an eye-huring pattern with the funny veggie, too. See art prints with it at my Redbubble and Society6 stores.
Made a red onion sticker for the digital sticker challenge at Redbubble. Added art prints and more products, too. Here it is: Also: Continue reading What I created recently – Jan 13th 2017
